Girls High School League
Our High School League is designed for athletes who want to continue developing their game in a competitive, positive, and team-first environment. Whether you’re preparing for your upcoming high school season, looking to gain more game experience, or simply wanting to improve your skills, Southside Legacy provides opportunities for players to compete, learn, and grow.
We believe that the best development happens through a combination of quality coaching, purposeful practices, and meaningful game play. Our coaches focus on strengthening individual skills, improving lacrosse IQ, and helping players build confidence that carries onto their high school teams.
As a community-based club, we’re committed to making high-quality lacrosse accessible and affordable for South Side families. We believe every athlete deserves the opportunity to grow in the game, regardless of where they start.
For players interested in continuing their lacrosse careers beyond high school, our experienced coaching staff is available to provide recruiting guidance, answer questions throughout the process, and help athletes identify opportunities that align with their athletic and academic goals.
Youth Skills clinics & leagues
Our Youth Skills Clinics and Leagues are designed to introduce girls to the game of lacrosse while helping experienced players continue to grow. Whether an athlete is picking up a stick for the first time or building on existing skills, Southside Legacy provides a fun, positive, and supportive environment where every player can develop confidence and a love for the game.
Through quality coaching, engaging drills, and game play, we focus on teaching strong fundamentals, improving lacrosse IQ, and helping athletes grow both on and off the field.
Meet our coaches

Anne Hopkins McIntyre
Mother McAuley High School
Augustana College
Head varsity lacrosse coach at Mother McAuley since 2019
Traveling to Portugal with my college team and playing against the National team.
I love to coach because I know how much this sport has given to me in my playing career and everything all my coaches did to support me and that’s what I want to be able to do for all the players I coach. As a coach, I have the possibility to leave an impact on these girls and that’s what I want to do and teach them life lessons beyond the field.

MacKenzie Zions
Marist High School
St. Ambrose University
I started playing in high school freshman year (2016) and I have been helping coach Marist Varsity Lacrosse since 2025.
My favorite lacrosse memory is traveling to play in Florida with my college team and spending the off days at the beach.
Coaching gives me the opportunity to help others grow, build confidence, and reach goals they may not have thought were possible. It motivates me to continue learning and growing alongside the people I coach, and knowing that I can make a positive impact in someone else’s life is what makes coaching so fulfilling to me.

Alyssa Grant
Mother McAuley High School
St. Mary’s College
I have been playing lacrosse since 5th grade (2015).
My favorite lacrosse memory is scoring my 100th point during my Senior Day at St. Mary’s. It was so special to reach such a fun milestone with so many of my favorite people there to cheer me on!
I find so much joy in sharing my love for the sport with the next generation of players. It is so rewarding to help girls learn new skills and see their confidence grow each practice. Being able to play even a small role in helping young athletes develop their own passion for lacrosse is what I love most about coaching.
